About the event
Living in the "lavender gray" space - where joy and hardship often coexist- can feel isolating. The Lavender Gray Community Walk exists to remind families that they are not alone. It is a moment to step out of survival mode and into community, surrounded by people whol understand the complexity, strength, and love woven into these journeys. This event is. intentionally designed to be accessible, low-pressure, and connection- focused. There is no cost to participate and no required pace or distance. Whether you walk, stroll, roll, pause or simply take it all in, you are welcome here. The focus is not on how far you go, but on coming together. Friends, siblings, caregivers, medical professionals, educators, and community members are invited to walk alongside families in solidarity.
